How team switching works
DragonSword: Awakening describes a three-Hero tag-team built around Status Ailments, Signal Skills and Switching Signals. That gives the roster a shared combat language, but it does not make every role or pairing interchangeable.
How acquisition works
Launch acquisition details are still being verified at the page level. For Ryza, the official LIVE STREAM #7 replay confirms one exact exception: Quest #53, “Reunion,” grants Ryza as its completion reward. Players who already completed that story point are scheduled to receive her directly in their inventory when the update goes live.
Post-launch Heroes in the official roadmap
Ryza is scheduled with Version 1.1 for October 15, 2026, but the update is not yet applied. Jerome, Veronica and Logan remain planned for the second half of 2026, with exact release dates and release order unknown. These planned additions are not part of the current 19-Hero launch roster.
